  • No, it will never do any distribution upargde e.g from 10.04 to 10.10 and so on. Partial upargde is good its not a Full upargde it is what makes 2Click Update differ from the classic Update manager. In other words it upargdes your packages to their next available version not your entire distribution. If you encounter any problem or have any question feel free to reply

  • Patrick, I'm the lead RCP guy for my small team that is developing a suite of pierprotary development tools using Eclispe 3.7. I've based my architecture on the idea that my development tools are independent installable units that can either be installed in our bare bones RCP application, or in a standard Eclipse 3.7 distribution. I've been tasked to investigate what it would take to move us to Eclipse 4. In this effort I've came across some issues that just are not covered in Lars Vogel's tutorials about Eclipse 4. Don't get me wrong Lars' tutorials are wonderful, and they save me so much time. But, I'm greatly looking forward to more information, and hopefully contributing my own discoveries as I learn them.
